JP Flick ("the app") is a Japanese input method that runs entirely on your device.

What we collect

Nothing. The app does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information or anything you type.

How your input is handled

• All text input and kana→kanji conversion happens locally on your device.
• The app has no internet permission and makes no network connections. It is technically incapable of sending your keystrokes or any data off the device.
• No analytics, no advertising, no third-party trackers.

Settings

Your preferences (such as "show romaji hints") are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted.

Third-party components

The app bundles the open-source Mozc conversion engine and Protocol Buffers library, both used entirely on-device. Their license notices are shown inside the app.

Children's privacy

Because the app collects no data whatsoever, it does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
